Maram Elnagheeb is a multimedia journalist covering education, immigration, labor, community organizing, and culture. Her reporting particularly focuses on the systems and policies that shape how people live and work.
Before journalism, she spent years as a teacher and nonprofit worker. That experience drives how she reports: building trust with sources, centering community voices, and staying close to the ground on beats she knows well. Her work spans audio, video, print, and investigative journalism.
She holds a Master’s in Journalism from Columbia University and a degree in Social Policy from Duke University.
